About Einstein`s Wardrobe

Welcome to the homepage of Einstein`s Wardrobe. We are a five piece "Scotpop" band from Edinburgh, Scotland. Our members are:

Steven McDonald (vocals)
David Salvona (guitars)
Craig Watson (keyboards, guitar, backing vocals)
Paul McDonald (bass)
Gary Crawford (drums)

Formed as a studio band by Steve, David and Douglas Shirlaw in 1993, the band released the Poodlfaker EP in 1994 under the name Dogs of Autumn. Craig and Paul joined in 1994 and Bhark, a twelve track album was released in 1995. The band were assisted on the album by Kitty Watson (violin) and Cathy Owen (backing vocals).

In 1998 Douglas left the band to pursue a media career and was replaced by Gary Crawford. A change of sound was followed by a change of name, Einstein`s Wardrobe. The band were finalists in the 1998 Sunday Mail T-Break competition. Einstein`s Wardrobe are currently writing and recording new material. Details will be released in the very near future.
